Great new textbook
I have used this new textbook this semester. The calculus and algebra is woven throughout the text in a cohesive way rather than being relegated to footnotes and appendices. It has lots of real world examples taken from research. Students love it and actually read it with enthusiasm. I previously used Nicholson's Microeconomic Theory: Basic Principles and Extensions, which did a better job with some of the mathematics and theory, but students hated it. This is a great addition to the portfolio of intermediate microeconomic theory textbooks for majors and others interested in using economic theory analytically.
