Good real estate economics material | ||||
Course taught: Real Estate Economics. Pros: covers the economics of real estate markets, also its interaction with other urban markets. Chapter 1 provides a simplified framework based on the paper by the authors (Real Estate Economics, 1992). Cons: There is very little on the supply side in the book. Chapters on non-residential markets need better explanation, modeling, and evidence. The other chapters are part of a typical urban economics books and could be better. It's a 1996 book: empirical evidence is outdated. |
