Excellent value and preferred by my students | ||||
This book is incredible value. It covers all of the bases for an Intro/Principles class and comes with a text bank, prepared Powerpoint slides, class outlines, etc. I ran a demand estimation experiment in class where I allowed students to look through eight different textbook options (with and without online homework software) and instructed them to choose their favorite. We discovered that demand is downward-sloping! The Dolan textbook was chosen by 70% of students. The second most popular choice was David Hyman's "Microeconomics" with .learn online homework (this option costs around $40 and received 20% of the votes). The $170 options received 0-1% of the vote. |
